The Last Supper (in Italian:Il Cenacolo or L’Ultima Cena) is a late 15th century mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Commissioned to Leonardo Da Vinci by the Duke of Milan, Ludovico Sforza, The Last Supper was part of an overall renovation of the church and its convent buildings, and was commenced around 1495.
In the painting, which represents the scene of The Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples, as told in the Gospel of John, 13:21, Leonardo depicted the consternation that occurred among the Twelve Disciples when Jesus announced that one of them would betray him.

Santa Maria della Grazie (“Holy Mary of Grace“) is a church and Dominican convent in Milan, northern Italy, included in the Unesco World Heritage sites list.
The church contains the mural of The Last Supper, which is in the refectory of the convent.
