Visit the Ferrari Museum: the Ferrari company museum dedicated to the Ferrari supercars.

The Ferrari Museum, included in our Dream Cars Trips, is close to the Ferrari factory in Maranello, near Modena, Italy, where every Ferrari is made, and to the famous Fiorano test track.

This beautiful museum tells the story of one of the most prestigious Italian automobile houses.

It contains a number of cars, but also trophies, photographs and other historical objects relating to the Italian motor racing industry, and the technological innovations behind the Ferrari’s cars.

Opened in 1990, it’s been extended with a new wing in 2004. The total surface area is now 2,500 square metres and it hosts around 180,000 annual visitors.

The museum exhibition room is divided in 6 main halls (Competition halls, Concept hall, Cinema hall, Victory hall, Great Tourism hall and Temporary show hall).

It’s enhanced with other 500 mq of services (among which the Ferrari Store, a coffee bar, the professional drive simulator and the Photo point).

If you are a fan, you will discover more a number of collectors’ cars in the halls.

The museum contains both cars designed for regular driving and some from the company’s illustrious Formula 1 racing history.

Many of Ferrari’s most iconic cars from throughout its history are present in the museum, included the single‐seater that won Ferrari its first world championship in 1951, and the all‐conquering F1 car driven by Michael Schumacher.

Some of the models you can admire: F333 SP, 250 Le Mans, 250 GT SWB Breadvan, F40 Competizione, 250 GTO, 599XX, Enzo, F50, F40, FXX, LaFerrari as well as the selection of concepts which led to the creation of the LaFerrari.

In addition to the actual cars, the museum also has exhibits an impressive pit-stop reconstruction, and a section dedicated to the incredible life of Mr. Enzo Ferrari.

In the Ferrari Museum you will also enjoy photographs, racing trophies, and interactive displays that will help you to discover and re-live the myth of Maranello’s famous red cars.

You will also see the exterior of the Wind Tunnel designed by Renzo Piano, where the aerodynamics and high speed performances of the Ferrari cars are tested.

And if you are a racing enthusiast, you can race in the F1 racing simulator based on the Monza race track outside Milan.

You’ll need to reserve a slot in the simulator in advance, and before you begin your experience you’ll even get pointers from a Ferrari technician. Just let us know!
