Pagani Factory Tour: discover how the beautiful Zonda and Huayra supercars are made.

The Pagani Factory Tour is part of our Dream Cars trips in Italy, which allow you to live the myth of the best Italian cars brands, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani, through visits to their museums, factories tours and test drives on road and track!

The exclusive Pagani Factory is based in the area between Modena and Bologna in northern Italy known as “Land of Motors” or “Motorvalley”.

This area is famous all over the world since most of the Italian major producers of super cars and motorbikes such as Pagani, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Ducati and Maserati are indeed located here.

San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, the small village where the Pagani Factory is, lies just 17 kilometers far from the Lamborghini Factory and the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

At the Pagani facility you can discover the incredible life of Horacio Pagani, long-term collaborator with Lamborghini, and founder of Pagani Composite Research in 1988, Modena Design in 1991 and eventually Pagani Automobili S.p.A. in 1992, the company that gave birth to supercars such as Zonda and Huayra.

The first spectacular Zonda, known as Fangio F1, was launched in 1999 at the Geneva Motor Show. The Zonda was replaced in 2011 by its evolution, the Pagani Huayra, with an incredible power of 700 hp, elected “Evo Car 2012” and “Top Gear Hypercar Magazine of the Year 2012”, an exclusive car with price starting from a base of about a million euro.

The visit starts in the showroom, where you can see the very first model to scale which Pagani made when he was just 12 years old, and the first racing car that he ever built, at the young age of 20.

The showroom also hosts variants of the Zonda, included the race version Zonda R, the car that lapped the Nürburgring in 6:47, claiming the record for production-based cars from the Ferrari 599XX.

The exhibition includes also the very first drawing of the Zonda and the latest Zonda Revolution and Huayra.

The tour continues with a guided tour of the Pagani laboratory, which allows you to see the construction phases of the latest models, the Zonda and the Huayra.

In the assembly room you will see several skeletal Paganis in different stages of completion. In another room, you will discover how the workers carefully fit panels together and test them for a perfect fit.

The final room houses the massive kiln where all the carbon fibre pieces, which are formed on site, are fired. Admire skilled craftsmen hand building the carbon fibre chassis and frame of the amazing Pagani supercars.

Particularly interesting are the details regarding the super light materials used, such as carbon fiber and titanium, which make these cars unique and extremely competitive.

The tour ends with a visit to the Pagani Store, where you have a chance to buy official Pagani merchandise.

During the tour you get an appreciation for how much care is put into each car.

The Pagani Factory and Showroom is definitely worth a stop if you’re in Italy.

The visit to the Factory is included at a special rate in our Pagani, Lamborghini and Ferrari Museum and Factory Day Trip from Milan, which will allow you to discover the amazing mix of high-tech and handcraft behind the Pagani cars, escorted by an official Pagani Factory guide, and to learn about the history of Horacio Pagani and its cars.
